Fundgiving

What is fundgiving?

The act of donating to a nonprofit, a portion of a monetary fund made available by a publicly verifiable identity, to help solve a social or environmental problem, for which both the nonprofit expense and the transaction record are also publicly verifiable.

Fundgiving is about donating money from an existing fund, tracking who was involved in the transaction and how and where that money was spent.  The fundraising model is too focused on the “ask” without any accountability for the “spend”. Fundgiving focuses on everything that happens after the fund already exists.
